How to get here

By buss: Buss 30 Bygdøy from downtown Oslo to Folkemuseet.
By ferry: March 15 – October 12: Ferry no. 91 from Rådhuskaia to Dronningen. Walking distance 10 min. to Norsk Folkemuseum.
By car / on foot: From highway E 18 or from the street Bygdøy Allé, follow signs to Norsk Folkemuseum.
Parking: Public parking in front of the main entrance. Fee every day all year, 08.00 – 18.00.

Disabled access:

Out-doors: Gulsvikstua in the Open-Air Museum. Most parts of the Open-Air Museum has wide gravel trails.
In-doors: Visitor Center, cafeteria and toilettes. The Main Exhibit Building, including toilettes. The Toy Exhibit and Sami Culture.

Eat at the cafeteria or bring a lunch?

Kafé Arkadia is located by the main entrance. Open every day.
Torgkafeen is located in the Open-Air Museum. Open every day in summer season and for special events during the year.

The picturesque Open-Air Museum is ideal for an out-door lunch. You are welcome to bring your own food. The Festival Ground has picnic tables.
