In a wooden Stavechurch dating from the 13th century, you may give your wedding vows, just like newlyweds have done for over 800 years. Your guests are free to wander in the open air museum while you have your wedding pictures taken.
During summer our garden and courtyard forms a wonderful backdrop for a drinks reception. The picture perfect Festsalen is the ideal location for the wedding banquet. The handpainted walls feature garlands of flowers, birds and cornucopia that herald romance and abundance. In winter, the warmth from the open fireplaces will give your wedding a fairytale feel with snowy landscapes just outside the windows.
